i want to live where soul meets body

i have a job now! at ABERCROMBIE AND FITCH! this makes me very excited. This past year, I have turned into quite the Abercrombie shopper. So when I went in the store on Sunday, and this guy Eric spotted me there. Apparently he had found me on facebook and messaged me before that, so when I got back to my dorm room he IMed me and recruited me. He said he wanted to do it in store, but thought it was awkward because I probably thought he was an internet stalker. But seriously, I dont think theres any such thing as an internet stalker anymore. Not after Myspace or Facebook or LiveJournal. hahahaa. But yeah, I've always kind of wanted a job there, but never quite knew how to get my foot in the door. Oh well, I'm glad I have a job down here now.


And I am also EXTREMELY EXCITED about tonight! Most of my good friends that I have made at UK (plus KITA, one of my babys mamas) will be there... And I'm pretty sure that the 122 drama is over... everyone got their feelings out in the open and i think everything is cool. I just really hope nothing ends up dramatic or awkward tonight, because people can get emotional when they are drunk. Shannon and Allie are coming (my future roomies hopefully), and kathleen and will (we are all becoming great friends. kathleen is my babys mama too) and all the 122 crew and more!!


I partied again at EKU last night. I really really like AJ and Ashley. I got stopped by a fucking COP last night when we were walking back to AJ's room!!! I lost my shoe in the parking lot (hehehehe) and i was walking kind of weird because of it so the cop stopped us while we were walking back, and was like "how many drinks have you all had"? i was SO GONE at this point that i dont even remember all that happened. i was like Uhhhh a few? And after a few minutes, he decided to let us go but "better not see us walking around again tonight." what a fucker! he didnt even check our ID's to see if we were of legal age or not. I am terrified of the police already... why dont the police just do something that MATTERS like catching theives and stuff, and not fuck with college students trying to have a good time? UGH the police are definitely on my shit list.


Um... I think that's about whats goin on in my life right now. classes are going better than I expected them to be, and its still 90 fucking degrees in my room. OOOOHHHH WELLL im out

You're my eighth lj friend to work at Abercrombie or one of it's sister stores(eg H Co., Ruehl, abercrombiekids).

im sure they will have reuhls in CA soon... much shorter time than in KY

HAHA- abercrombie worker.
orientation is so whack.
you have to do role-play of what to tell people about jeans.

the best part about the job is your paychecks are usually like 100$ or less for 2 weeks. and then you always spend that or more on clothes. so really you lose money working there.

i just had orientation. we didnt have to role play or anything! we filled out our shit, got shown around and we left. lol

then they werent following the procedure! ha
my boss will love that.
i just was at the mall. the kids in the stores were not using the taglines and being annoying.
but i didnt find anything i wanted. the shirt i had to exchange they didnt have anymore in the size and color i needed. :( but i dont need to spend money anyways.
did you get your free jeans?

well im pretty sure everyone is supposed to get a free pair.
unless they changed things... bc you HAVE to wear jeans whenever you work.
did they talk about getting 3 items at 50% off then?

I was there for a while (I'm not saying I'm attractive, I think they needed one non-white person and I'm not necessarily ugly so it worked out). You'll learn to hate it like the rest of us, but while you have it abuse that discount like no other. So is this Eric guy a manager or what, and is he a mo?
